If you are a UFC fan, you won’t want to miss the live stream of UFC 285 tonight. It’s one of the biggest events in recent UFC history, featuring two title fights, the return of Jon Jones at heavyweight, and many of the best upcoming prospects in the sport today.

Jones, the former UFC light heavyweight champion and arguably the best fighter ever, will face Ciryl Gane, the former interim UFC heavyweight champion and the #1 contender in the division. They will fight for the undisputed heavyweight title that is currently vacant.

Jones has a phenomenal record of 26-1-1 and has won 14 title fights. He has not fought since February 2020, when he beat Dominick Reyes to keep his light heavyweight title. Now he wants to conquer another division and cement his legacy.

Gane has an impressive record of 11-1 with five knockouts. He earned his shot at the undisputed title by knocking out Derrick Lewis in August 2021. He wants to make history by being the first man to finish Jones.

The co-main event also features a title fight, as flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko defends her belt against Alexa Grasso. Shevchenko is one of the most dominant champions in UFC history, with a record of 23-3 and seven title defenses. She has not lost since 2017, when she fought Amanda Nunes for the bantamweight title.

Grasso is a former strawweight who moved up to flyweight in 2020 and has won four straight fights since then. She got her title shot by beating Viviane Araujo by unanimous decision in December 2021. She hopes to stun the world and take Shevchenko’s belt.

The main card also includes Bo Nickal, a three-time D-1 National Champion wrestler, making his UFC debut against Jamie Pickett at middleweight. Fast-rising prospect Shavkat Rakhmonov also faces Geoff Neal on the main card.

The prelims feature Cody Garbrandt’s return to bantamweight, where he meets Trevin Jones. Dricus Du Plessis will look to continue his win streak in the UFC when he faces Derek Brunson.

To watch this stacked fight card live online, you will need an ESPN+ subscription and purchase the pay-per-view (PPV) package. ESPN+ is an online streaming service that offers exclusive sports content, including live UFC events, original shows, documentaries, and more.

Existing ESPN+ subscribers can order the UFC 285 PPV for $74.99.

If you are not an ESPN+ subscriber yet, you can get a special discounted bundle that includes a one-year membership and one PPV event for $124.98.

You can watch ESPN+ on your mobile device or any connected TV device such as Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast, PlayStation, or Xbox. Alternatively, you can stream the fights on your computer via ESPN.com or the ESPN app.

The PPV main card starts at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT on Saturday night (March 4). The prelims start at 8 p.m ET / 5 p.m PT on ESPN+, ESPNEWS, ESPN Deportes, and ESPN. The early prelims start at 5:30 p.m. ET / 2:30 p.m. PT on ESPN+.

Don’t miss this chance to see history as Jones vs Gane headlines UFC 285 live stream on ESPN+ PPV.

To watch UFC 285 PPV on ESPN+, you need two things: an ESPN+ subscription and a UFC 285 PPV purchase.

An ESPN+ subscription costs $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year. It gives you access to exclusive live and on-demand content from UFC, MLB, NHL, MLS, PGA Tour, college sports, and more.

A UFC 285 PPV purchase costs $74.99 for existing ESPN+ subscribers or $124.98 for new subscribers who bundle it with an annual ESPN+ subscription (saving over 30%).

Once you have both, you can stream UFC 285 PPV live on your TV (via Roku, Chromecast, Fire TV, etc.), computer (via web browser), mobile device (via app), or gaming console (via app).

You can also watch UFC 285 prelims live on ESPN starting at 8 pm ET and early prelims live on ESPN+ from 5:30 pm ET.

UFC 285 fight card preview

UFC 285 features a stacked card of exciting fights that will keep you glued to your screen.

The main event is a historic showdown between Jon Jones, widely regarded as one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time, and Ciryl Gane, a talented knockout artist who previously captured the interim heavyweight title.

Jones has not fought since February 2020, when he defended his light heavyweight title against Dominick Reyes by a controversial decision. He then vacated his belt and announced his move up to heavyweight, where he hopes to cement his legacy as a two-division champion.

This fight will be a clash of styles between Jones’ versatile skillset and Gane’s striking prowess. Both men are athletic, intelligent, and confident. Who will emerge victorious?

The co-main event is another title fight between Valentina Shevchenko, the dominant women’s flyweight champion who has defended her belt seven times, and Alexa Grasso, a rising contender who has won all of her last four fights.

Tonight’s UFC 279 fight card has a new main event, and it’s arguably better than the originally scheduled one.

Nate Diaz will now face Tony Ferguson in a five-round welterweight clash after Diaz’s original opponent Khamzat Chimaev missed weight by 7.5 pounds. The UFC immediately got to work following the botched weight cut and ended up filling the main event slot with Ferguson, who was already scheduled to fight on the same card against Li Jingliang.

It’s a matchup that longtime fans of mixed martial arts have wanted to see for many years. But with Diaz now fighting on the final fight of his contract, the elusive matchup between Diaz vs. Ferguson looked like it’d be another potential classic that slipped away from us.

Diaz vs. Ferguson is also a much more competitive bout than the original main event. Diaz was set to enter the bout with Chimaev as a +750 underdog at some sites, being on the wrong side of the craziest odds for the main event we’ve seen in quite some time. Now, Diaz is available at +110 odds as oddsmakers seek action on both sides of the fight. Ferguson, too, benefits from the matchup. He was a moderate underdog in his move up to welterweight but will now enter as a slight betting favorite against Diaz.

Diaz vs. Ferguson is the main event of tonight’s event, and that means it’ll be the last fight of the night. UFC 279, just like all UFC PPV events, can only be viewed on ESPN+ after ordering the event on the ESPN+ website.

  • Fight date: Saturday, Sept. 10
  • Start time: 11:50 pm ET / 8:50 pm PT

The UFC 279 main card will begin at the standard time of 10 pm ET / 7 pm PT. Five fights are scheduled to take place tonight in Las Vegas, and that means Nate Diaz vs. Tony Ferguson is expected to start at close to midnight ET.
